Reported Speech..!

¿What is? The reported speech is a way of talking about the things that someone said to another; it's a way of indirect quotation, I mean, This reported speech is used to describe, explain, or say something whit your own words that someone has said or heard you before.


When it is used?

Like I sais before, you can used when are going to  explain something that we have been told. Now! you have two options to used:

 Directh Speech (this way, you have to say everything just as they told you, without changing a word)

or

 Reported Speech

(This way, the phrase can be changed but without altering the information)

Rules....

1: You must take into account that:

If you use Direct Speech, the sentences go in the present tense, but when you use the Reported Speech, the verb changes to the past tense (or according to the grammatical time that the other person has expressed)


2: In the second photo, you can see that "Could, Would, Should and Might", the modals not change. 

3: You can make questions whit Reported  Speech, Look

4: For requests and orders you can also use it, like this 

5: The adverbs of time also change.
